Michele M. Poteracke was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989, the same year she graduated from UOP’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
At that time, she was a bankruptcy and litigation associate for the Stockton, California law firm of Rishwain, Hakeem and Ellis.
In 1993, she opened her own office in Fairfield, California and represented clients throughout Solano, Napa, Lake and Sonoma counties, as well as beyond to Sacramento, San Joaquin and Contra Costa. Her focus again was litigation and bankruptcy, with the addition of family law.
In 2008, she opened an additional office in Santa Rosa, returning to Sonoma County after years living in Sacramento and Fairfield.
Michele grew up in Petaluma, and graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College and San Jose State University, obtaining a degree in journalism.
