James is Vice President of the Waterville Bar Association as well as a member of Maine State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He lives in Waterville with his wife Tiffany.
James graduated cum laude from the University Of Maine School Of Law in 2009. During law school, James gained experience as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and also an intern at Taylor, McCormack, & Frame, LLC in Portland, Maine.
James is a 2002 cum laude graduate of Colby College, where he was a four-year member of the Colby Men’s Ice Hockey Team. James also spent his senior year of high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan playing for the United States Under-18 National Team Development Program during the program’s inaugural season. He is currently a Division III men’s and women’s ice hockey official in the NESCAC and ECAC East divisions. After college and prior to law school, James was employed by the National Park Service at the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
