Joyce Leary Clark has been practicing law in southern Maine since 1990. She grew up on a small dairy farm in Saco. Joyce graduated from Thornton Academy in 1981 and received her A.B. degree in History from Harvard University in 1985. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 1990. From 1990 to 2014, Joyce practiced law in Scarborough, Maine. She has been a partner at Prescott Jamieson Murphy Law Group since March 2015.
Joyce is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA), and the Cumberland County Bar Association.
Joyce and her husband live in Saco, Maine with their two children.Joyce has been an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Scarborough since 1997, and served as president in 2003-2004. She has been elected president for 2015-2016. In 2013, she received a “Katahdin Counsel” commendation from the Maine Supreme Judicial Court for donating over 50 hours of pro bono legal services in one year.
