James is the Chief Operating Officer at UpRight Law and brings to the firm a strong background in building financial teams, operations, and systems for high-growth businesses. He began his tenure at UpRight Law as Vice President of Finance in 2015 and subsequently transitioned to an operations focus in 2017. In 2018, James was named Chief Operating Officer. He possesses more than 15 years of people and process management experience, eight of those within the legal industry. James earned his degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
