William Hubbard, President of the American Bar Association, stopped by the UpRight offices this morning to take a tour and learn a bit about our model and our vision for increasing access to justice.
William also leads the ABA’s Commission on the Future of Legal Services, and is a kindred spirit in terms of recognizing the importance of expanding access to justice. He’s been quoted as saying, “We must develop a new model to meet the needs of the underserved.”
Of course, that’s what we’re working toward every day here at UpRight, and William recognized that. He wants other members of the commission to tour our offices and meet with our team, and would like us to speak about legal innovation at future events. This response is a testament to the work we’re doing here every day. More importantly, it demonstrates that key players in the legal industry recognize the importance of innovation in improving access to legal services.
Onward and UpRight! We’ve only just begun to change the legal landscape and expand access to justice to all Americans.
