UpRight’s whole business model is built around improving access to justice by making legal services more convenient, extending into under-served areas and otherwise making it easier for Americans to get the legal help they need.
This December, we’re going one step further to say “Thank you!” to those who have served our country.
We know that many members of the military and returning soldiers struggle with debt. This month, we’re helping 31 veterans and their immediate families regain control of their finances and establish a stable footing with free Chapter 7 bankruptcy representation.
We’ll choose one veteran and his or her family for each day during December. All the veteran is asked to do is:
- Pay the $335 court filing fee
- Meet with an UpRight attorney within 7 days and provide necessary paperwork
- Provide DD214 as proof of U.S. military service
